After reading the first line of the story, why do you think the author started this way? Use details to support what you say.
Ok, now that our technical difficulties are taken care of let's start our blog with a new question. Why did the Comancheros want Lottie, Francis, and Billy? What detail from page 537, reinforces the claim that Francis is wise in the ways of survival out west?
the comancheros wanted lottie billy and francis because they meant real money because they could be sold or traded into slavery also proof to support the claim that francis is wise in the ways of survival because on page 537 it says francis knew that brushing out the tracks would only work in the pitch dark of the night . in daylight the brush marks themselves would be easy to follow.

After reading pages 538 and 539, what was the author trying to accomplish by explaining Lottie loved to talk and then say "Lottie didn't have vreath left to speak? What other details from these pages can support what the author's purpose was on these pages?
Sorry typo... "Lottie didn't have breath left to speak."
After reading pages 538 and 539 the author was trying to accomplish the fact that she loved to talk but she was so out of breath she didnt even want to talk or couldnt talk.
after reading pages 538 and539 what the author was trying to accomplish when explaining lottie loved to talk then say"lottie didnt have enough breath left to speak " was to show that if she loved to talk soo much but now shes not it would show she has been walking for a long time and one text detail is that " lottie loved to talk would talk all the time if she had a chance "
''Lottie would explain every little detail of every littlepart of every little thing she was talking about so that not a single aspect of it was missed.
the comancheros want Francis,Lottie and,Billy because back in the day children were worth lots of money they could olso be sold into slavery.Francis is wise in surival by telling Lottie and Billy to walk in each others footprints then as Francis walked behind them he dragged mesquite to cover up the footprints.

Francis is wise because "Francis knew that brushing out the tracks would only work in the pitch dark of night. In the daylight the brush marks themselves would be easy to follow".
i hate mcdonalds
after reading pages 538 and 539, the author was trying to accopmplish the fact the lottie loved to talk because it says it right in the text. also she mostly talked from the time when francis found them to now. the details that can supporty the authors reason for the pages is because it tells how they were tired and com[plaining about the walking and how tired they were. it also shows the theme of the story.
the author accomplished stating the characteristics of lottie when he dicribed how lottie loves to talk. one way he discribled that was saying that she would talk all the time if she had the chance. the author also states in the text that "lottie loves to talk," according to the text she dicribed every single aspest and detail and she had been talking ever since francis met her in the wagon. therefore i can conclude that lottie is very talkative and analyizes things until she understands exactly what happened.
The Comancherous wanted Francis and the childern.''Childern meant real money because they could sold or traded into slavery. But Francis was well trained about the west.'' Francis knew that brushing out the tracks would only work in the pitch dark of night. In daylight the brush marks themselves would be easy to follow.''
