Today we started our health lessons discussing some first aid. It was great to know that we have procedures in place in case of an emergency. Tomorrow, Sgt. Spain will build on what we started today. I can't wait to hear what he will teach us

How is everybody feeling about current events right now? I'm sure you are still a little intimidated about them, but once you get going and pick your own articles I'm sure you will get to enjoy them. We will finish the reaction tomorrow and if you are still concerned don't be afraid to ask q
Thank you to all for visiting tonight. It was a great pleasure to meet everyone. I really look forward to working with each and everyone of you. Hope you enjoyed the presentation.
Emily posted a question about the spelling words in my previous post. Her question led me to adding a Spelling List section to the website. Does anyone else have any ideas of things to add?
Ok... This new schedule for specials is a little confusing, so I am going to try to explain it. With the start of each new week comes a new 1 through 5 day count. So if we have a full school week (no half days) Monday would be day 1 and Friday would be day 5. If we have a holiday and the school week starts on a Tuesday, then Tuesday would be day 1 and Friday would be day 4. That should cover the days and how they get their numbers. Now on to our schedule by the numbers.
Day 1 = Physical Education Day 2= Music Day 3= Physical Education Day 4 = Art Day 5= Rotates on an A, B, C, D weekly rotation ( the weekly rotation will be displayed in the class based on the week) A week = Guidance B week= Physical Education C week= Art/Music D week= Physical Education I hope this helps everyone understand the specials. I will try to update the website to let you all know. Thank you all for a very positive first day. I really did learn a lot about my new class and I look forward to making this year one to remember. If anyone has a particular part of the first day that you found fun and memorable, let me know in a response.
